Presentation Day

Date: Wednesday 17 February 2020

How do we present the seminar? Collective preparations: https://pad.vvvvvvaria.org/hfg-open-source-presentation

Snippet from an email Anton Stuckardt sent:

The presentations will take place on the 17th of february from 10:00 – 13:00h. Each seminar will have a slot of 15 – 20 minutes to present their work. The form of this is open to you and your students to define. In the past we had a broad range of short theatre plays, lecture performances, exhibitions, cinema programmes, conversations, walks etc. but of course it can be much more humble, especially on a digital platform. The only obvious restriction this time is that the presentation has to work in a video format, be that prerecorded or live.

In addition to the presentations, there will be a dropbox for you all to upload your work and spend the semester holidays investigating the work of your fellow students in all their beauty and complexity! All technical and procedural details will be announced very soon.

They take place on BBB: https://bbb.hfg-karlsruhe.de/b/ant-xc2-4yw

Schedule for the presentations:

09:55 welcome!
10:00 Webwerkstatt (Lukas Marstaller)
10:10 Know your Tools (Massimiliano Audretsch)
10:20 Gestaltung Grundlagen (Juliane Hohlbaum)
10:40 Typographie 1 (Anton Stuckardt)
11:00 Open(?)Source(?) (Manetta Berends)
11:20 Confused Erudition (Linda van Deursen)
11:40 Rare Bird Economics (James Langdon)
12:00 The Story of the Collective Original (Katharina Köhler)
12:20 94,3% (Ivan Weiss & Michael Kryenbühl)
12:40 open end – for hanging out and questions

Possibilities: using the wiki and click through the pages, exercises, not explain, more performative

All seminar sessions will (very probably) take place online.
